Higher technical specialised education (shipbuilding)

Work experience by profession in the field of basic design
Creative attitude to work
Knowledge of international classification rules for shipbuilding and European standards and norms of ship systems design for different types of ships
Perseverance and purposefulness
Experience in hydraulic calculations, arrangement of mechanisms
English Pre-Intermediate/Intermediate level (sufficient for technical documentation, business correspondence and negotiations with foreign customers)
Independence, ability to make responsible decisions
Experience in designing ship systems according to the requirements of different classification societies (DNV, ABS etc.);
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a team
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
Full time
Would be a plus. Knowledge of specialized programs for ship pipeline tracing and development of production documentation (Cadmatic, AVEVA, etc.)
What are your duties?
Layout of basic design of ship systems for various types of ships according to the requirements of the classification societies
Calculations for selection of piping diameters, selection of fittings in accordance with the requirements of classification rules
Creation of initial technical requirements and selection of equipment
Individual work performance:
Selection and arrangement of shipboard equipment
Development of a complete set of basic documentation for ship’s systems
Solving technical issues regarding the scope of work to be carried out
