What is required?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (recent graduates are welcome)
Attention, logical thinking
Experience in shipbuilding and maritime industry is a plus
Creative attitude to work
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Perseverance and purposefulness
English Pre-Intermediate/Intermediate level (sufficient for technical documentation, business correspondence and negotiations with foreign customers)
Ability to work in a team and communicate with other disciplines
Full-time availability
What are your duties?
Development of general electrical diagrams for marine systems (power distribution, lighting, alarms, navigation, communication)
Positioning of shipboard electrical equipment and cable trays
Routing of cable systems with attention to bending radius, separation, and accessibility
Preparation of technical documentation for basic and detail design stages
Resolving technical issues related to the scope of work
Performing electrical load and balance calculations
